Behind & Beyond My Books - MUSE THERAPY: Why All the Bitchy Signs?

MUSE THERAPY Launch-Month Mayhem (Day One)

    TGIF!!!

With the official count-down to the October 15th release of my MUSE THERAPY: UNLEASHING YOUR INNER SYBIL starting today, I'm welcoming y'all to my D. D. Scott-ville Muse Mayhem by way of Bitchy Sign Boulevard.

So Why All The Bitchy Signs thru-out my MUSE THERAPY book?

    Here's the scoop...

Most writing books harp on and on and on about the beyond bleak chance you will ever see your book on a shelf or E-reader screen. Instead of dampening your creative zest, yet again, with additional cold shots of discouragement, we’re going to focus on reigniting the fiction and/or non-fiction flames kindling your muses.

Using unique exercises and tools, MUSE THERAPY warms up your muses and analyzes their funks then shows you how-to rein in those fickle divas and dans to up your page counts.

Playing on the “crazy trip” writing-for-publication is (even on a good day), we’ll assess your writer’s journey in a parody-like roast as if you are the next great mental health case study.

We’ll study and continuously build-on laugh out loud visuals including photos, art work reproductions, bitchy signs, comics and cartoons. Using these outrageous images, I’ll help you stimulate and reinvigorate your cranky, stressed-out muses.

Focusing on laughter as the best and most successful therapy, MUSE THERAPY shows you and your muses it’s okay to be “crazy” as long as your “crazy” works for you by upping your page counts and taking back the throne of your creative empires.

I also happen to collect Bitchy Signs, Quotes and Anecdotes so I have plenty of LMAO's to share!

And speaking of sharing, today's Muse Mayhem Bitchy Signs are gender neutral and thus able to be enjoyed, appreciated and taken advantage of by both men and women travelling writing-for-publication paths (as are most of the images thru-out MUSE THERAPY). Y'all owe a very special shout-out and hearty thank you to my writer-friend Jeff Salter who commented after viewing last week's Bitchy Sign:

"I guess I've known some of the male gender who are indeed bitchy. But I'm kinda drawing a blank on how this would help MY writing. Can you give me an image to work on which would correspond to this "inner bitch" you keep referring to?
[can't wait for your reply to this]...Or should I be worried? I may not want to ever meet my 'inner bitch' (or whatever corresponds). Ha. Ha." --- Jeff

So here you go, Jeff, and all you other Creative Dan's out there (you're not Diva's, so I call you Dan's, btw)! In MUSE THERAPY, there are no worries on how-to find a "bitchy sign" to reach your Inner Bitch...Testosterone Style Diva or Dan...LOL!!!

I've got a ton of those too!!!

Today then, we'll go with neutral kinda, super supreme signs that will work no matter whether you're full of estrogen and progesterone or testosterone!!!

So here we go with this Friday's Bitchy Signs feature...

Now if chicken scratches and writer's block comics don't work, there's always my favorite Creative Diva or Dan Inner Bitch Inspiration, the beyond fabulous Prince Poppycock!!! Just pretend you're The Prince dissing dumb Piers' buzzer-happy hands...I mean c'mon, nobody messes with Yankee Doodle Dandy!!!

Just make sure when you're on your writing-for-publication Yellow Brick Road to Publishing Oz, you take frequent detours along my Bitchy Signs, Quotes and Anecdotes Boulevard. And on that street there are no worries about what your neighbors think! I mean really...who the *!%uck cares?!!!

Welcome to “therapy”...MUSE THERAPY that is.
