Okay...that should get you started and sooo beyond in the Holiday Spirit!!!

And here's a wonderful Kindle Tip to keep in mind as you're reading...

If you're like me and on the go, go, go, no worries! With any of the FREE Kindle Apps plus your new Kindle E-reader too, you can start reading, using any device, with one of the Apps and/or your Kindle itself, and thanks to Amazon Kindle's amazing Whispernet technology, every device remembers right where you left off and opens to that exact page on the next device you choose to read on!!!

So, for example, I can read on my iPhone - while out running errands and/or waiting in the doc's office...then go home and settle-in with my Kindle and be right where I left off on my phone. Now how cool is that?!

P.S. If you haven't ordered your Kindle, do so today!!! Why?! One word: Oprah!!! That's right!!! Today on her show, Oprah is promoting the Kindle and giving her audience Kindles as one of her Favorite Things!!! The last time she did that in 2008 (also during the Holiday Season), Amazon sold 100,000 Kindles per day for the next week then ran-out of units until the following March!!!

Behind & Beyond My Books (STOMPIN' ON STETSONS): Why a Holiday Story?

Here we go, All!

The first Behind & Beyond My Books Post on my Thanksgiving Week Release STOMPIN' ON STETSONS - Book Two in The Bootscootin' Books Series!!!

Today, I'm givin' ya the scoop on "Why a Holiday Story".

First off, anyone who knows me at all knows I beyond luuuvvv snow!!! The more snow the better for this chick!!!

Lady Gaga may wear meat suits but D. D. Scott is all-about-snowsuits!!!

Let it snow, Baby! Let it snow!!!

But it's not just about the snow either...I've also got a bit of a hang-up on all-things-Christmas-Trees!!!

Yes...I'm the one who's first thru the door at Hobby Lobby in late August/early September when they're just setting out their display trees, and here's the picture I snapped with my iPhone this year to prove it:

Anyhoo...I'm such a huge Holiday Fanatic that I also choose a different theme each year (with a signature cocktail to match) for our D. D. Scott-ville Christmas. So far, we've had:

Retro Reindeer Christmas

Christmas In Oz

Cow-Bell & Cracker Barrel Christmas (this year's fabulous theme)

Fun stuff, right?!

So what does that have to do with my upcoming Thanksgiving Week Release STOMPIN' ON STETSONS...well a ton actually...

STOMPIN' ON STETSONS is my first book with the Magic of the Holidays as a huge part of the story!

And I'm emphasizing that it's the first, because with each new series I do every year, one of the books will have a very special Holiday Season element.

For STOMPIN' ON STETSONS that Holiday Season element consists of "Evergreens as Aphrodisiacs"!

And ohhhh noooo, I'm sooo not joking!!!

Did you know that Evergreens are actually considered the Viagra of trees?!

Well you'll learn that fascinating tidbit plus a ton more about Aphrodisiacs thanks to my heroine's Aunt Tulip who happens to be a Rosalind Focker-style Sex Therapist - yeah...as in the fabulous Barbara Streisand character in the MEET THE FOCKERS movie. But beyond Roz, my Aunt Tulip specializes in all-things-aphrodisiacs!!!

More on that in the next Behind & Beyond My Books (the STOMPIN' ON STETSONS' edition) where I'll give you the glorious inside scoop on "Why a Rosalind Focker-style Sex Therapist".

You won't want to miss that!!!

P.S. Til the next post, here are my latest beyond amazing snow pictures, taken just this past weekend when we enjoyed a wonderful little Winter Wonderland Lake Effect Snow Event here along the fabulous shores of Lake Michigan!!! (And no, I did NOT touch-up the magical sunrise I captured with those surreal, orange-topped trees! That's Mother Nature's Magic un-altered!!!):
