Yesterday, at my grog The WG2E, I kicked-off my new, D. D. Scott "Put Your Big Girl (Or Boy) Panties On & Deal With It" Blog Tour!!!
Why?
Here's the thing...
Every week, on The WG2E, I share my Real Sales Numbers.
But...if I hadn't Indie Epubbed, I wouldn't be sharing Real Sales Numbers.
Why not?
Because I wouldn't have any Sales Numbers period!
I'd still be waiting...like I'd done for ten years...before finding the courage to go the Indie Epub route to launch my writing-for-publication career.
And in that ten years, I had a ton of beyond horror-story worthy experiences that damn near did me in.
If I hadn't learned how to...

The WG2E's Real Numbers Series: Putting Epublishing Numbers Into Perspective

This coming Monday - January 10, 2011 - is the Launch of The WG2E's Real Numbers Series!
And every Monday thereafter at The WG2E, we're gonna share our Epublishing Real Numbers then analyze the heck out of 'em too.
But before we do that, I wanted to give our numbers the proper perspective.
No, I'm no J. A. Konrath yet, but I happen to find a fabulous example of exactly where I'll be coming from with my Real Numbers on his blog.

L. J. is the author of the Detective Jackson mysteries, the first of which I just downloaded to my Kindle - for 99 cents, btw - after reading her terrific interview. Here's the cover and Kindle link:

In January of 2010, I had one book on Kindle and sold 31 copies. I had two print books on the market with a small publisher, and they weren’t selling much better. In December, I had six books on Kindle and sold over 10,000 copies. To get from point A to point B, I had to make some radical decisions.

Let It Snow...Let Me Blog
Oh the weather outside is delightful...and I mean delightful.
The wind is howling and thrashing gigantic snowflakes sideways into my office windows while the panes are rattling to their own frosty beat. We're under a Winter Weather Advisory 'til 7 pm tonight...which in the Great Lakes region means who only knows how much snow we're going to get. Although, I haven't seen the magic word "squall" which when coupled with "snow" tends to mean the flakes will be flying fast and furious at a couple of inches or more per hour. Right now though, we're there, in snow squall splendor, regardless of the magic word. Some weather writer is probably typing it into the national database as I type this blog.
